Take your choice of a stroll through Palm Glen or for the more energetic, a leisurely 3.5km walk through scenic Mt Bates to Captain Cook Monument. At the end of the walks you meet on the cliff top for a delicious breakfast BBQ.

BEHIND THE HEDGES

Thursday – 8:30am

Travel to Anson Bay to visit a small hobby farm, which has been instrumental in improving our local livestock industry. Close by see a demonstration at Norfolk’s major pottery and browse at the cottage pottery shop. After a delicious morning tea at a scenic location, walk through one of Norfolk’s largest Banyan Trees. ISLAND CULTURE TOUR

Wednesday & Saturday – 1:00pm

Experience the culture of the island’s forebears! From our mutineer ancestors & their Tahitians wives came the arts of wood craft, weaving, cooking & the Norfolk language. On this tour see a woodturning demonstration using Norfolk timber, visit an island home where you’ll learn about our cooking. An island weaving demonstration & a presentation on the Norfolk language will follow the afternoon tea break.

CONVICT SETTLEMENT TOUR

Tuesday, Friday & Sunday – 1:00pm

An ‘In-Depth’ tour of historic Georgian settlement of Kingston. Walk through the cemetery & hear the history of interesting convict & colonial headstones, hear stories of the houses along Quality Row. Walk through the ruins of the New Gaol, see the Pier store, Boat Shed & the Crank Mill.

GREENFINGERS TOUR

Friday – 8:30am

A tour featuring some of the islands most lovely gardens. Through the morning we visit a nursery owned & operated by a young Norfolk Islander, and view the hydroponics. We also visit a gorgeous private garden with a spectacular view. Morning tea at a scenic spot included.

HISTORIC MURDER MYSTERY DINNER

Sunday – 6:30pm

Enjoy a 3-course meal fit for the Commandants whilst the Mystery unfolds…Meet the Commandant, Clergyman and Convicts of this period. True characters from the second settlement. Guaranteed a great fun night out.

NIGHT AS A CONVICT

Friday – 5:45pm

A fun night out for all ages! Dress (outfit supplied) as a convict & join in with the Commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting, singing & dancing. Great food! Great fun! Norfolk’s only dinner & dance night – this is the most popular feature dinner on Norfolk.

GHOST TOUR – QUALITY ROW DINNER

Dinner and Lantern Walk. Listen to tales and stories that will delight you, make you sad and through it all, send shivers down your spine! Includes dinner in historic Kingston and a lantern walk through the ruins.

MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY SHOW

Thursday – 7:45pm

Descendants of the mutineers bring the story of the famed ‘Mutiny on the Bounty’ and Historic events to life in a 1.5 hour show performed in an outdoor amphitheatre on Norfolk’s western coastline. An event not to be missed!!

FLETCHER’S FATE

Wednesday & Sunday – 6:30pm

Mystery Dinner. A fascinating evening of interactive theatre, intrigue & mystery. This entertaining play, examining the possible last movements & final whereabouts of the famous mutineer, Fletcher Christian, is dramatically acted out by a 6 character cast over a sumptuous 3 course dinner.

SOUND & LIGHT SHOW

Monday, Tuesday, & Saturday – 7:15pm

Nightfall at Kingston brings a different mood to the Convict Settlement. The stillness and the stars are there just as they were before mankind arrived in 1788. However, with the dramatic use of real life sounds, theatrical lighting & costumed actors, the stillness is broken as Pinetree Tours takes you through the horrifying decades of Norfolk Island’s convict era.

PROGRESSIVE DINNER

Monday & Wednesday – 6:00pm

Enjoy a 3-course meal progressing to different Norfolk Island family homes. You will join a group of other Norfolk Island visitors and be taken to carefully selected island homes where you will hear Norfolk stories from your dinner hosts. The Progressive Dinner is a fun night and a great way to meet the local people.

ISLAND FISH FRY

Tuesday & Thursday – 5:00pm

Enjoy a feast of Island dishes, salads, homemade bread & fresh fried fish, followed by Island desserts & tea or coffee. Enjoy some local entertainment, on our exclusive private property ‘Orn Daa Cliff’. This is a great meal to have before the Mutiny on the Bounty Show or Sound & Light Show.

WONDERLAND BY NIGHT

Monday, Wednesday & Saturday – 7:15pm

The setting is 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines and bushland lit up like an enchanted forest. Meander (or ride in the ‘moon buggy’) along a gentle winding path with a descendant of the Bounty Mutineers, as he recites his poems and lights up the dioramas.
