Milky Way is the island’s northernmost accommodation, idyllic and peaceful Old Settlement Beach is less than a minute’s stroll from your front door. Milky Way offers two types of self-contained holiday villas.

‘Belmoreana’ Villas are either one or two bedrooms and are ideal for a family group or two couples. Bedrooms have either a king bed or two large single
beds. Ensuite bathrooms in all villas.

One bedroom ‘Mooreii’ Villas are nestled amidst dense tropical rainforest and feature an outdoor dining setting on your private balcony.

Licensed restaurant at Milky Way open Monday and Friday nights. Takeaway menu only for outside guests with transport home available.

Ideally located close to many restaurants and cafes, general store, Post Office and the island’s jetty. A quiet swim, sensational snorkelling and fascinating fish feeding are so close.

Lord Howe’s iconic lagoon, serene Old Settlement Beach and Ned’s Beach are an easy stroll away. Walk up to the back paddock for panoramic views of the lagoon and mountains.

A blend of the old and new, the original homestead is now the lounge and recreation area with pool, table tennis, games and library.
The all weather supergrass tennis court, sparkling salt water pool in the immaculate lush lawns and gardens. For al fresco lunches and dinners there are covered BBQs positioned close to the units.

LEANDA LEI

Leanda Lei Apartments are set amid five acres of tranquil tropical gardens and spacious lawns with views towards Mount Gower and Lidgbird. It is ideally located on Middle Beach Road only 400m from Lagoon Beach and 300m to the museum and visitor’s centre. It is an easy stroll to all the island’s main attractions including restaurants, cafes, general stores and boutiques.

Leanda Lei was established in 1954 as a guest house and Lord Howe’s ‘honeymooner’s haven’. In 1974 Leanda Lei was converted to self-contained apartments, allowing for more freedom of choice regarding styles of accommodation. Today at Leanda Lei you have a choice of modern studio, one and two bedroom apartments.

Four BBQ areas, communal lounge with small library, free phone for local calls, transit room (snack making facilities and shower room), guest laundry, on site pushbike and car hire.
