THE GOLDEN ORB
Described as a quirky and quaint Cafe, the Orb is a place where the locals meet and eat. Located in a lush subtropical garden just 20 metres off the main road. Serving delicious breakfast, lunch, cakes, coffee and speciality teas. Open Wednesday – Sunday from 7am.
WILDCRAFT CAFÉ
A store front and cafe show casing locally made goods from Norfolk Island. Located opposite the airport and next to Slick and Sons. Open 6:30am – 2pm Monday – Saturday. On Wednesday close at 12pm.
THE LOUNGE BAR AND CAFÉ
Located at Governor’s Lodge, the Lounge Bar and Café offers barista coffee, sandwiches and freshly baked treats available for dine in or takeaway. Wine and beer also available. Open 7 days (9am – 5pm).
THE BOATSHED
Offering a comfortable nautical vibe set under the sails of the Marquee at Governor’s Lodge Resort. The menu is casual café dining and offers a relaxed space and is also available for functions and events. Open daily for breakfast and lunch.
BOWLING CLUB
Three international tournaments are played annually on Norfolk Island. The South Pacific Open 3 Bowl Pairs in March, TAB Triples, late August and Bounty 4s, early May. The club has two greens and a bistro open everyday for lunch and dinner.
RSL CLUB
Affordable club meals for lunch or dinner. A la carte menu for dine in or take away. Live entertainment on weekends. Five beers on tap, billiard and pool tables, giant screen. Visitors are welcome, no membership required. Open 7 days from 11am.
LEAGUES CLUB
Looking for a casual meal or a couple of drinks in a friendly comfortable location? Drop into the island’s Leagues Club. The club is small, easy to find and the meals are tasty and great value. Watch ‘most’ of the current sports competition on their big screen.
GOLF CLUB
One the oldest existing golf Courses in Australia, the Club was first built by convicts in 1843. To this day golf is still played over the same historical area, now part of a World Heritage site. Come down to Norfolk Island Golf Club to take in the history and spectacular scenery.
SLICK AND SONS
Norfolk Island purveyors of fine meats and delicatessen. Slick and Sons is a family-owned business with two generations and over four decades of butchery and gourmet food experience. Open Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5pm, and Saturday: 8am – 1pm.
HIGH TIDE KITCHEN
Located on Taylor’s road at the front of Aloha Apartments. High Tide Kitchen serves a range of delicious breakfast and lunch options. Kids menu available. Open daily 7am – 2pm. Dinners for groups can be arranged in advance.
