Travel Insurance

It is highly recommended travel insurance be purchased at the time a deposit is paid to cover against cancellation fees, charges and unforeseen circumstances. Preexisting medical conditions must be disclosed. It should be borne in mind that our destinations are islands and can be subject to aircraft diversions in extreme weather conditions or other circumstances, which can cause major disruption to schedules.

Holiday Costs

Prices quoted by Oxley Travel are subject to change without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as increase in land or airfare costs. Airport taxes & levies are subject to alteration at any time and must be passed on to the consumer when advised by the airline, government or relevant authority. Prices are not included in this brochure because of the volatility of airline industry pricing and overriding specials. Please call or email our reservations team for current prices.

Payments, Cancellations & Amendment fees

Airline tickets are issued upon receiving your deposit and are non-refundable/non- transferable. Included in your deposit amount is a non-refundable amount of $200 per person. Any amendments after the deposit is paid will incur a minimum fee of $150 per person. Cancellations after your balance payment has been received may equal up to 100% of the total package cost – subject to the cancellation policies of airlines, accommodation houses and other service providers. Balance of payment due no less than 8 weeks prior to departure.

COVID Cancellation policy

Any cancellation as a result of your travel dates either to, from or within, a location or area that is, at the time of your travel dates, the subject of a Commonwealth or State Government imposed border restriction, closure or lockdown (“COVID Event”), will incur a cancellation fee of $100 per person. This fee is payable to Oxley Travel and is in addition to any applicable third-party supplier cancellation fees that may also be payable.

Note: For bookings made prior to 11 August 2021, the subject of a COVID Event, a cancellation fee of only $50 per person will be incurred.

Oxley Travel’s standard cancellation fee of $200 per person, in addition to any applicable third-party supplier cancellation fees, will apply to cancellations not the subject of a COVID Event.

COVID Re-Bookings

Should your booking be altered or cancelled as a result of a COVID Event, you may be entitled to rebook your holiday to a later date or receive a booking credit, subject to availability of third-party suppliers and their respective terms and conditions. Airfare upgrades and seasonal surcharges may apply to your rebooked travel dates.

COVID Refunds

Should your booking be altered or cancelled as a result of a COVID Event, any applicable refunds will be subject to Oxley Travel’s Cancellation Policy (including COVID Cancellation Policy), in addition to the refund terms and conditions of any third-party suppliers, including but not limited to; airlines, accommodation providers, tour and service operators.

Refunds

After the commencement of your holiday, no refunds can be issued.

General Conditions

Oxley Travel give notice that in issuing tickets and coupons for airlines, accommodation houses and service providers, it is not acting as a principal but as an agent only for those companies providing services. The issuance and acceptance of any tickets and service vouchers shall be deemed as consent by the passengers to these conditions. Airline conditions are contained in your airline ticket.

Price Changes

Oxley Travel Pty. Ltd. reserves the right to adjust prices as may be necessary and without notice up to and including the date of departure. This may include but not be limited to fluctuations of rates, increase of airfares, fuel levies, airport and ticket taxes and hotel rates.
