The mince pies are in store and the baubles are on sale… Christmas is definitely coming!

Christmas comes early on Lord Howe Island, for bookings anyway.

Year after year families find that they have left their booking for a Christmas on Lord Howe until it is too late.  With limited family / 2 bedroom accommodation, planning ahead is key.

If you want to enjoy your Xmas / New Year somewhere on the beautiful LDH start planning and booking at least 12 – 18 months ahead.

What if the WHOLE family, grandpa, grandma, aunts, uncles, nieces, crazy Uncle Stan and naughty cousin Steve all want to go together you definitely need to book even further ahead.

We already have bookings for XMAS / New Year 2019/2020 for large family groups. Don’t let the tinsel fade on your dream holiday, have your family meeting, send those emails and start the bauble rolling.

Santa does not want a parking ticket while waiting!

Whilst Mr & Mrs Claus and all the elves do travel to the island, don’t think that it is just kids, kids, kids.

Lord Howe is favoured by everyone at this time.

Even for singles and couples, planning ahead is key, especially if you have a particular accommodation OR even just a specific standard of accommodation preference. The closer to Xmas / New year the less choice you get.

Now that you are on the island, enjoy Christmas day lunch with a BBQ at the beach (no need to pack your axe, firewood is supplied at all public BBQs).  You can gather around your on-site accommodation BBQ areas for a chat.

Alternatively, you have a couple of options at local restaurants if you don’t want to do anything but eat, drink & be merry (pre-booking imperative).

Our knowledge lets us assist you in finding the perfect option for your family or just yourselves.     You can go luxe, basic or in-between.  We know which property is too big, too small or the one that is just right and best meets your requirements. Not sure what you need, don’t worry we can give you some options, guide you in the right direction and finally book that Christmas/New year holiday.

Don’t forget, unlike other tourist destinations only 400 of you will be lucky enough to celebrate Xmas/ New Year on this world heritage paradise.
